You really are spoit for choice when visitng Turkey as its filled with breathtaking sites and scenery. The two most popular are, Ephesus, which is an ancient roman city and also the amazing calcareours water pools at Pamukkale. If history is not your thing then there is the city of Istanbul, with its endless streets of shops,bars,restaurants and tourist sites. Many people come to Turkey for its amazing coastline, which is borded by three different sea's, the Aegean, the Mediterranean and the Black sea. The south Aegean and Mediterranean coasts have very hot summers and are very popular with sun worshipers. Turkey has not yet gained EU membership and therefore a visa is required in order to enter the country. You will be able to purchase a visa on arrival at any of the Turkish airports for ten English pounds and that grants you a three month stay.
